6/18/10 Target Trip

Just when I was starting to like Target, I am reminded of why I don't like Target. On top of having the non-coupon friendly cashier again, they didn't even carry a product that I had a coupon for from their website! I asked someone for help and they said that they had never seen the product (Scrubbing Bubbles Vanish Bowl Cleaners). Go figure! So...I just got 2 packages of Tums, used a Q for each, and walked out happy that I only "gave" Target $1.22 of my money today!

Random Thoughts

Why do I always remember my calculator, which is sitting on the computer stand at home, when I'm in the middle of the store trying to calculate my purchases?

Why do I always detect errors in my purchases AFTER I get home and never before I leave the store?

I wonder why my area is always the area that doesn't participate in the regional coupons.

I am thankful for Karen (at my church) for holding the couponing class I attended at the beginning of March. I have been able to save a lot of money for my family and donate a lot of items to the food bank at church.

I think that HP ink needs to be cheaper and/or produce more copies.

I am glad that my dad (a couponer-in-training according to him) was able to venture out on his own today with a list and a stack of coupons. He did really well!!!

I wonder why none of the couponing sites I visit follow Piggly Wiggly. It would be really nice for the weeks that offer 10 books of stamps for using 10 coupons.

I wonder why one customer service rep and cashier will tell me one thing when I go in and on the next visit another customer service rep and cashier will tell me something completely different. I can see how it would vary from store to store, but within the same store. :)
