Crazy Week

This has definitely been a CRAZY week. This is the first time I've had a chance to even look at my blog all week. My church is doing the Coupons to Troops project as a mission. Last Sunday was an awesome Sunday for receiving coupons. We received a large stack (about 8 inches high) of coupons. Some of them expired back in April and May so I wanted to get those cut out, sorted, and shipped this week. I've accomplished only 1 of those so far - they are all cut out. I'm going to spend this weekend sorting them and totaling them up so I can mail them on Monday.

I did get out to do some shopping Tuesday and Thursday. I spent 8 hours out Tuesday taking a friend of my son's to 5 different stores so she could stock up on groceries for her family of 5 for the month. They don't have transportation so their grocery shopping is usually limited to 1 or 2 stores. So....we went to 3 stores, went back to her house so she could unload, then went out to the other 2. She now has all her cabinets, fridge, and 2 freezers STOCKED!!

As far as my shopping goes...I picked up a few things from the grocery stores Tuesday, but I mainly got LOTS of free SOBE from CVS. I did go back to the grocery store Thursday to get some items, but, as usual, I'm planning on going back Tuesday.
