Great job on your savings! I am not a fan of Walgrens, because they rarely have anything in stock, and they always give me a hassle.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up your savings at Frugality Is Free. I would love it, if you would come join

ReplyDeleteIt's not shameful. She did pay for 2. Most places ring BOGO items up at 1/2 price. So, she did pay for 2. They were just 1/2 price.
ReplyDeleteAnd, if you are going to call someone dishonest, perhaps you should at least post your name, so she can defend herself.
Thanks, Frugaility is Free! I usually don't go to Walgreens unless something just jumps out at me.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jane! You're right. Most places ring up BOGO items at half price. I had to get 3 Nivea in order to use the coupons I had. I did this. I saved $4/2 and got one free. I just followed a plan set forth by several other saving blogs. If what I'm doing is not accepted, then the register will beep.
From Walgreens Coupon Policy:
ReplyDeleteYou can usually use two coupons on a Buy-One-Get-One-Free sale. Generally, Walgreens stores allow you to use two coupons for each products on a B1G1 Free sale, including the free product. For example, if hairspray is on sale B1G1 Free, you can use two $1/1 coupons – one on the item you buy, and one on the item that is free. Similarly, you can also use one coupon for $1/2 on a B1G1 free sale, but only one because it applies to two items.
I followed the 2nd one...it was a BOGO sale and I used a $4/2 coupon (just like their policy says). For the individual who would still consider me "lucky, dishonest, or shameful" because I followed Walgreens Coupon Policy, perhaps you should contact Walgreens directly and let them know that YOU consider their coupon policy "dishonest"!
Here are 2 couponing blogs that have the same scenario that I had with the Nivea:
