7/17/10 CVS Trip
I have mixed feelings about this trip. I know I shouldn't complain because I got some really good deals. However, it's aggravating when I'm supposed to get ECBs and I don't. When I asked about it, I was told "I can't do anything about it. The register prints out what you're supposed to get." So...what do I do? I ask for the manager. And I'm told that she's on vacation. So...I paid more than I was supposed to for the 2nd transaction because I didn't get all my ECBs from the 1st one.

Well.....I asked for a rain check for the Chex Mix because they were out of it. Instead of giving me one, the lady walked to the back and got some out of storage. The only kind they had was Cheddar. I didn't want Cheddar. I wanted the Spicy one. She told me that she couldn't give me a rain check if they had some Chex Mix. So...I either had to take the Cheddar or do without the rain check. I didn't know how hubby would feel about it because he's been wanting Chex Mix all week so I got it.

7/13/10 Food Lion Trips
I went to 2 stores today to try to stock up on the Capri Suns. The first one had plenty and would let us get as many as we wanted as long as we did separate transactions. But...I was running late for an appointment and thought that I could just stop at another Food Lion that allows us to do the same thing after the appointment. The 2nd Food Lion was completely out of Capri Suns so we just got the veggies. It wasn't until I got to the register that I realized that I grabbed some Green Giant veggies instead of Food Lion brand. The cashier wanted to check to see if they worked and they did so she just let me get them. I LOVE this Food Lion! Here's a summary of what I got today:
