I went to 2 stores today to try to stock up on the Capri Suns. The first one had plenty and would let us get as many as we wanted as long as we did separate transactions. But...I was running late for an appointment and thought that I could just stop at another Food Lion that allows us to do the same thing after the appointment. The 2nd Food Lion was completely out of Capri Suns so we just got the veggies. It wasn't until I got to the register that I realized that I grabbed some Green Giant veggies instead of Food Lion brand. The cashier wanted to check to see if they worked and they did so she just let me get them. I LOVE this Food Lion! Here's a summary of what I got today:

My mother did this same transaction in the morning and paid $.05. I did it in the afternoon and paid $.11. Don't get me wrong...I'm not complaining about paying taxes. I just wish there was a way to figure out how they calculate the taxes. Especially....when there shouldn't be taxes on any of this because they are considered food items.
